1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of ReikiWorks.ca (the “Site”) and any services, features, content, resources, directory listings, submissions, or other offerings made available through the Site. By accessing or using the Site, submitting information, creating a listing, contacting us, or purchasing or booking any service offered through the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site.

2. About ReikiWorks

ReikiWorks is an independent online resource dedicated to Reiki education, information, resources, articles, practitioner discovery, and related complementary wellness practices. The Site may include educational material, practitioner and teacher directories, business listings, articles, reviews, testimonials, advertisements, sponsored content, and links to third-party websites.

Information presented on ReikiWorks is provided for general educational and informational purposes. The presence of a practitioner, teacher, business, product, service, article, advertisement, or other listing on the Site does not by itself constitute an endorsement, certification, recommendation, or guarantee by ReikiWorks.

3. Reiki and wellness disclaimer

Reiki and other complementary or energy-based practices discussed or offered through the Site are intended to support general wellness and personal development. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other licensed healthcare services.

4. Practitioner and teacher directory

ReikiWorks may provide a directory of Reiki practitioners, teachers, instructors, schools, centres, and related wellness providers. Directory information may be submitted by practitioners or obtained from publicly available sources.

ReikiWorks does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, qualifications, availability, pricing, experience, credentials, services, or professional standing of any person or organization listed in the directory. Visitors are responsible for independently evaluating and verifying any practitioner or service provider before making an appointment, payment, or other commitment.

Any dispute, complaint, appointment, payment, refund, cancellation, treatment experience, or other transaction between a visitor and a directory listing is primarily between those parties. ReikiWorks is not a party to those transactions unless expressly stated otherwise.

5. Practitioner listings and submissions

If you submit a practitioner listing, business listing, profile, article, image, testimonial, review, comment, biography, logo, or other material to ReikiWorks, you represent that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit and authorize its use.

You agree not to submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate for the Site.

By submitting content to ReikiWorks, you grant ReikiWorks a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, publish, format, edit for clarity or presentation, distribute, and promote that content in connection with the Site and its related services. This licence does not transfer ownership of your original intellectual property to ReikiWorks.

ReikiWorks reserves the right to review, edit, refuse, suspend, remove, or disable any listing or submitted content at any time where we believe it may violate these Terms, applicable law, Site standards, or the interests of the ReikiWorks community.

6. Accuracy of information

We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information, but ReikiWorks does not warrant that all content on the Site is complete, current, accurate, or free from errors or omissions.

Information may change over time, including practitioner details, prices, services, availability, contact information, qualifications, articles, links, and other Site content. Users should verify important information directly with the relevant practitioner, business, organization, or other source before relying upon it.

7. Appointments, purchases, and payments

Where ReikiWorks facilitates or promotes appointments, purchases, registrations, directory listings, advertising, memberships, or other paid services, additional terms, prices, payment conditions, cancellation policies, or refund policies may apply.

Prices and availability may change without notice. Any applicable taxes, transaction fees, or other charges will be identified where reasonably applicable.

Unless ReikiWorks expressly states otherwise, ReikiWorks is not responsible for appointments, payments, refunds, cancellations, service delivery, or other transactions made directly between users and independent practitioners or businesses listed on the Site.

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its original content, design, text, graphics, logos, page layouts, compilations, and other materials are owned by ReikiWorks or used with permission and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, access, and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may share links to ReikiWorks content, provided that you do not misrepresent the source or imply an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.

Except where expressly permitted by law or by written permission, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, sell, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from Site content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Canadian or Ontario law.
